Leif Le Mahieu, named after famed Viking Leif Erikson, was born in Yakima, Washington. However, he spent most of the first decade of his life living in the cornfields of Iowa. The next decade of his life he spent mostly in the jungles and highlands of Papua New Guinea, an island just north of Australia. He loves hiking, exploring, history, and the Green Bay Packers. Among the many historical figures he admires are Winston Churchill, William Wilberforce, Nathan Hale, John Lloyd Stephens, Ronald Reagan, and Joshua Chamberlain. He formed this blog with the intent of shedding light on issues facing the Christian church domestically in the United States and globally. He currently attends Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia where he majors in History and International Studies and runs Cross Country and Track and Field.
